The aim of the Community Centre is to develop and strengthen the community living in the Ashenground area of Haywards Heath. The overall aim is to encourage cohesion and good community relations in the area and the social inclusion and independence of individuals.

- Work in partnership with voluntary and statutory organisations in identifying facilities and services which meet the needs of the community.
- Work with the community in determining its needs and wishes.
- Aim to provide facilities and services, including premises, which benefit the community.
- Support all social groups of whatever age by providing opportunities and settings to help them develop their potential and to feel more socially included.
- Harness the efforts of the community and voluntary and statutory organisations to ensure that the services and facilities provided by the Centre thrive and develop.
- Strive to be the hub of the local community.
- Deter criminal and anti-social conduct and encourage good behaviour and relations.
